A privacy-first little website

MiniPigus is a public information website. You can read all articles without creating an account, providing a name, or subscribing to a mailing list. The website does not currently include advertising pixels, embedded social-media feeds, third-party analytics scripts or forms that collect personal information.

Information stored in your browser

The interactive daily-care checklist uses your browser's localStorage feature to remember which boxes you ticked. This information remains on your device and is not intentionally transmitted to the MiniPigus website. You can clear it at any time by using the “Reset checklist” button or by clearing site data in your browser.

Other interactive elements—such as the FAQ search and nutrition tabs—operate locally in your browser and do not send their contents to a server.

Standard technical logs

Like most web servers, the infrastructure serving this website may process technical request information such as the requesting IP address, requested URL, connection time and browser details in order to deliver pages, troubleshoot errors and maintain security. Access to these records should be restricted to the site operator, and retention should be kept as limited as practicable.

Some articles link to independent veterinary or educational resources. Once you follow an external link, that destination's privacy practices apply. MiniPigus cannot control third-party sites.

Changes to this notice

If MiniPigus adds analytics, a contact form, newsletter or other data-collecting features, this page must be reviewed and updated before those changes go live.
